Each year, the Berlin Family Pass (Berliner Familien Pass) offers families a wide selection of discounts on activities across the city that you can enjoy with your children. The 2018 Berliner Familien Pass is no different.
A bit, or even a lot of rain doesn't need to be an excuse to stay home with the children. There are many options for things to do with the children on rainy days in Berlin. Here are my top tips for good (indoor) places to go on rainy days to keep the children entertained...

We recently headed over to Wedding to check out a place I've been curious about for quite a while, the Labyrinth Kindermuseum! I squeezed in a few photos whilst there and thought I'd write a review...
Berlin is home to a number of family café which come in very handy for those with young children, looking for a way to keep them entertained on rainy and cold days in the city. They vary in size and equipment and all serve food to keep the mums and dads well fed whilst they watch the children play. There's no shortage of fun museums in Berlin, so while the weather is cold and dismal, it's a great time to explore what's on offer. I took Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody to the Science Center Spectrum yesterday, and had a great time getting involved with all their interactive experiments. The boys are 3 and 5, so a lot of the 'science' behind the displays and equipment is a bit over their heads (and mine at times tbh, I've never been much of a science bod!), but nevertheless, taking part in all the fun stuff kept them entertained for a few hours.
Last week, whilst we had family visiting and a rare chance to take my oldest out without his little brother, we decided to take him bowling for the first time. He wasn't sure at first but once he put on his special kids bowling shoes and was given his own, child-weight bowling balls, he loved it! So here's a review of Eastside Bowling in Friedrichshain and if you would like to know where your nearest family-friendly bowling alley in Berlin is, check out my list at the bottom of this post.
